Wow so its been way too long since i've been on here. I have ALOT to catch up on. Last sept. we moved up to Seattle Wa for Dallas to go to school for Air Traffic Control. He is now half way done which is nice, we miss our family and friends in Utah but are also loving it up here. We've met some really great people up here and have been able to do some incredible things.

Kamdyn is almost 3 but tells people that she is 15 1/2 I don't know where she gets that from but she acts like she is 3 going on 15. But all in all she is such a smart and witty little girl, she's got such a funny but head strong personality. I just took Brady in for his 18 month check up and he's doing great, only 22 lbs, he's my little monster. He's starting his terrible two's but is still such a sweet little boy.

Dallas and I just celebrated our 4 year anniversary the other day. Its so much fun taking 2 little kids on youre date night. I guess they come with the package now. It will be nice getting home where we have lots of babysitters.

Last night Larry the Leprechaun came to our house and left Kamdyn and Brady some treats they loved it and thought it was funny that he left treats in their shoes.

We got the kids some fish last week and they think they are so cute. Kamdyn named them marlin jr and coral jr from nemo. funny little thing

so so sleepy

This valentines weekend we took the kidos to Disney world and had so much fun. We bought this timeshare vacation package 3 years ago and finally used it. When we got to florida we checked into our hotel. We should've known something was up when we got there and there were only 4 other cars in the parking lot. When we got to our room I was dumbfounded. How could they book us in this rathole. I'm using nice language here. Is was disgusting. There were bloody fingerprints on the doors cobwebs on the walls, it was so bad. I immediately called up Ramada that we booked our vaca through and blew up. Lets just say they checked us out of there and put us in a different hotel. Still not the best but we could handle it for a week. Anyways it was unbelievabley cold in orlando but so fun. We went to seaworld, animal kingdom the beach and of course magic kingdom. So funny so when we were at cocoa beach kam was playing in the water and the wave came up and took kam down poor thing she was so cold but you couldn't help but laugh. (what a horrible mom I am). Kam is in love with cinderella so we had to see her she was so excited the whole time we were in line she kept saying leela leela while smiling and jumping and as soon as she saw she almost started crying. She is so shy is cracks me up. For Valentines Dal sent me flowers to our hotel. They were so pretty I was so sad when the airline wouldn't let me bring them home. We bought mickey and minnie ears for the kids and all we heard all day was oh how cute. Brady fell asleep with his on and it was priceless.

Last wednesday Juliana and I took the kids to the zoo for wacky wednesday free zoo day. Its a free day that they do every once in awhile. It was a little cold but we had so much fun. Kamdyn still talks about the horses(giraffes) that we saw and that she loves them.

I know its been along time since i've posted i wish i could say that i've been ridiculously busy but honestly its just pure laziness. Christmas was so much fun this year. The kids were spoiled rotten from grandparents and got more then they could've imagined. Dallas and I had so much fun watching the kids open there presents. We got a trip to Disneyworld and were going in feb so we are really looking forward to that.

Brady is getting big he's now 5 1/2 months and is sitting up and starting to play with kamdyn. Kamdyn loves him so much and is constantly bugging him. Kamy is finally starting to talk and is obsessed with horses and the wiggles, all i hear all day is horhee and wiholes. It was cute at first but ahhh.....

So this summer i'm starting school back up. I don't know what i'm thinking. I have 2 semesters left till i get my bachelors and I'm also getting my teaching license so hopefully I don't lose my mind.

So bear with me this is going to be a long post. So I've just been really lazy lately hence the reason for no posts also i don't have internet so that makes it hard. Well things have been going really good in the dorton home. We are all happy and relatively healthy minus the colds going around that each of us have managed to catch. Kamdyn and Brady are getting so big. Kamdyn is now talking a lot more. I was worried there for a little bit cause she wouldn't say anything. Brady is growing so fast I wish he would stay small but its not going to happen. Dallas is doing great in the insurance business. He is such a great provider for us. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father. He adores the kids and so do I. Last week I gave Brady his first haircut. It was sad but much needed. He looks like a little man now. Kamdyn is in the process of being potty trained, she is doing really well with it. I'm not ready to take the diaper off though cause i can just imagine the messes i'd have to clean up.

Halloween was so fun this year Kamdyn was a garden fairy and Brady a bumblebee. We went trick-or-treating with them and Kamdyn loved it. I think most of her candy was gone before we got home. She wanted to eat it as she got it.

Our house is still for sale with no offers yet. Keeping my fingers crossed though. It would be nice to get out before christmas but I dont see that happening. Maybe in January.

Well hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and eats alot.

sorry its been so long. we dont have the internet so its hard to find somewhere to get on. The kids are getting big, we took brady in for his two month check up and he's now 10 lbs 14 oz and 23 inches long. he's getting so big. Kamdyn is talking now (well alittle) her favorite thing to say is uh oh baby. She's so funny, she loves dancing and playing with the dog. Brady just started laughing on sat its so sad how big he's getting. I had a girl from the school take a few pics of the kids. she did such a good job. not a whole lot is going on with us. we recently put our house up for sale so we'll see how that goes. I hate having people roaming through but what can you do. plus i'm looking out the window right now and is starting to snow. how depressing, i'm so not ready for the cold weather. you cant see bradys hair in this pic but its like 2 inches long on top. he really needs a haircut but i cant bring myself to cut it.

I know I'm a complete slacker but I've been busy. First off I had Brady last wed aug 5 he was

5lbs 12 oz and 18.5 inches long. Just a little guy. He is the best baby. Sleeps through the night till like 5:30 and is so calm. He is considerate ( he likes to let his mom sleep) sweet little boy. The delivery went great. I got induced at 9:30 am and had him at 1:35 in the afternoon. It was so fast only like 5 min of pushing and he was out. Dallas barely made it back for the birth. I got my epideral at one and I was dialated to a 5 so he went and got lunch. Right before he walked in room the nurse ran out to get the dr cause Brady was coming out. I'm so lucky cause Kamdyns delivery was horrible. If I was guaranteed another delivery like this one I just might have a few more kids. Kamdyn is so sweet with Brady she loves him so much, always kissing him and wanting to hold him.

So late last night around 2 am poor kamdyn woke up in tears. Not knowing what was wrong with her and (seeing how she is teething) i just figured she was up cause her gums hurt. So i go into her room pick her up and begin to rock her while Dallas runs down stairs to get some motrin for her. Well sure enough as soon as we give her the motrin she throws up all over me. Now I have had my fair share of baby puke on me from her reflux but nothing like this. Oh it was horrible. It was everywhere! Dallas grabs her and runs to the bathroom as she continuously throws up down the hallway. Oh the joys of being a parent. I have to say how grateful I am for Dallas. I went and got in the shower with kamdyn, and Dallas with a big smile on his face (not) went and cleaned up all the throwup. Oh how I love him. I wouldn't have made it if i had to clean it up right now. I almost lost it when it got on me. What a trooper he is.

Gosh i can't believe how time flies. This year has gone go fast, Kamdyn is now one and we had a really fun party for her with all our family there. She was spoiled rotten with tons of clothes and toys. Dallas also surprised her with her first kitten. I guess its name is Kitty. How original huh!!!

A few weeks ago my friend Brittany and I took our daughters to Thanksgiving Pt to the petting zoo that they have. The kids had so much fun on the hay ride and feeding all the animals. She's walking everywhere and is starting to talk. She says mama and dada and can tell you what a cow and chicken say. It's so much fun having her around.

Also i've made it to 30 weeks and all is well with baby brady. He's kicking and moving around like crazy now. We can finally start counting down the weeks.

Alot has been going to this past month and its been crazy. Easter was a lot of fun we spent the day with my family. My sister and her fam came into town for the week and it was fun seeing them, lindsay helped my make a easter dress for Kamdyn and I'm thrilled to say its so cute. I'm very proud of myself. We went to vegas with dallas's familly for spring break and had a blast it was so warm and kamdyn loved the pool. Dallas had his 26th birthday yesterday and we celebrated by going to lunch with his family and then going to a movie later that day. I was going to go surprise him at work but he took the keys to my car so i was stuck at home till he got back.

This past sunday we had to take kamdyn to the ER. She has been sick for the past couple of weeks and just wasn't getting better. Sunday at church i went to change her diaper and it was full of blood, so i started freaking out, grabbed dallas and left to the dr's. She is doing alot better now, she has bronciolitis which is causing her to have severe diarhea and is throwing up alot which is causing her to bleed. YUCK!!! But she's doing great now. So other then that nothing else is going on, just working and enjoying life. i'll post some pictures later i don't have my camera with me sorry.

Well its official we are having a

BOY

Yep its true we're adding a little guy to our family and we couldn't be happier. We've chosen a name already and its going to be Brady John Dorton. He's healthy and I imagine he's gotta be somewhat happy just chillin in there.

Just an Update

So i know its been a really long time since we've posted anything so here it goes. Well for starters, We have a big annoucement to make!! I'm Pregnant! Due in August, hoping for a little boy but we will be happy with either as long as its healthy. All is going well with the pregnancy i'm 13 weeks now and am starting to feel alot better, i've lost 8 lbs so far thats pretty good. Kamdyn is getting so big, she is 8 1/2 months now and is getting more and more fun with each day. she walks along the furniture, climbs up the stairs, and climbs on anything or anybody that she sees. She says Mama and loves loves loves to Scream. We took Kamdyn to her first Vegas/Golf trip. We learned that she doesn't like road trips. We got a new calling in church, we teach the little 6 year olds. And let me tell you, they are a handful. Dallas's job is going great he really enjoys what he does and is better better at it everyday. I'm just working at the salon still just waiting for the arrival of the newest member of the family.

I hope everybody had a great christmas. We had alot of fun this year. Dallas surprised me with a sewing machine and some clothes. I've been wanting to become more domesticated and what better way then to sew. Dallas got a new scotty cameron putter,and some clothes. Kamdyn on the other hand got more then she could've imagined. It helps to have grandparents so close. She got her first cabbage patch doll that surprisingly she loves it, she got a leap frog play table that plays in english and spanish. Dall is worried that she's going to become fluent and start yelling at us in spanish and we wont know what she is saying. And she just got lots and lots of clothes and toys. Santa was very nice to her this year.

On her 7 month birthday she cut her first tooth. Its the bottom left one. Its so cute when she smiles you can see this tiny little tooth. Kamdyn is growing up so fast and we just love her. Well we hope everyones holidays have been great and enjoy the rest of the year.

We also learned Kamdyn doesn't like waking up to madness. She needs her coffee in the morning!!

ok so i know i'm horrible at keeping this thing updated but i'll try real hard. Kamdyn is growing up way too fast. She is such a sweet little baby and I couldn't have asked for more. She started crawling the day before thanksgiving and now she just cruises everywhere. I can't believe it only 6 months old. CRAZY!!! Anyways here are few pics of here.

So i know its been a really long time since i've posted anything i've just been really busy. I'm still working at the salon and I've also started working at the forum cosmetology school which i absolutley love. Its been a blast teaching people what i love to do. Dallas has been working really hard selling insurance. If anyone is interested let us know. Kamdyn is getting so big. She's 6 months now and is just the cutest thing ever. She is trying to crawl she's almost there. she starts off then face plants it. I think by the next week or so she'll be moving along. Not to brag or anything but she's also standing up by herself next to furniture and by herself. She's such a super baby!!!

So its been a long time since i've posted so here's an update on whats been going on. On Aug 3rd Kamdyn got blessed, Dallas gave Kamdyn a beautiful blessing. I'm so grateful for him and I love him so much. Kamdyn experienced her first cracker She had her 4 month checkup. She's getting so big, she weighed 13 lbs and 11 oz. and is 25 inches long. She also had her shots which she absolutely didn't like We couldn't be happier in our lives. Dallas's job is going great and he absolutely loves it. I'm starting my new job at the Forum Accademia (the hair school my mother-in-law) is opening. pics to follow and i couldn't be more excited.

so sorry its been so long since i've last posted. I get a funny feeling i'm posting for my own satisfaction. I guess whether people read this or not i'm keeping my own personal journal so i can go back and read this later in life. RIGHT? Anyways for anyone who does read this not much has been going on this past month. Hence the reason for not blogging. Lets see pretty much all that has happened is Dallas went on a 4 day golf trip down to Grand Junction CO with his dad and some guys. He had a lot of fun so i'm glad he got the chance to get out and do his male bonding. Then the week after Dallas' friend Jared and his fiancee Cathy came down from Oregon to hangout and golf. So it was another week of golfing. YEAH for us golfers huh!!!! So now that Dallas has had his month long fun I'm needing some input on where I should go on vacation. I'm going to drag dallas on a vaca somewhere but don't know where. It can't have a golf course within at least 100 miles of it. Thats my only rule.

Kamdyn is growing like crazy, my mom got the baby walker out of storage for kamdyn and I can't believe that she knows how to use it. The kid isn't even 4 months old yet and she thinks she needs to walk. Whats wrong with this picture. Either she is a baby genius or i'm just in trouble. Oh and I'm wanting to redo my kitchen I'm wanting to restain my cupboards a dark brown and put up a backsplash throughout. What do you think.

Just this week I've been telling Kamdyn that she needs to start laughing and to my surprise she actually listened to me. Yesterday she laughed for the first time it was so stinkin cute. Plus we got her this johnny jumper thing which she absolutely loves. She's so funny she's so little yet she thinks she needs to stand up all the time so this swing is perfect for her.

Our little girl is growing up so fast....she's going to be 3 months old next week. So our little baby is no longer a little baby. On friday Kamdyn decided to sit up, sure it wasn't a 5 min long session more like 5 seconds either way she is getting so big. We love her so much and are so proud of her. So our little Kamdyn is now 7 wks old. She's getting so big! She still has reflux and is spitting up everywhere but everyday gives us hope that it will soon pass. We weighed her the other day and she is now roughly 9 lbs and 22.5 inches long. She's so cute. I've started back to work and its not so bad, its kinda nice having an out. I'm only working 12 hours a week, It gives me a little break from constant crying (although she is getting better at not crying). Dallas's job is going great he is such a good dad and husband I couldn't ask for more. He qualified for the state ameteur golf tournament so we're so excited for him. Maybe one day he'll go pro and make us millions.

So its been almost 2 weeks and I can't believe how time flies. Kamdyn is such a sweet baby she sleeps through the night, sometimes waking up once to eat. I couldn't ask for a better baby. She started smiling the other day probably just gas. She is just perfect. I absolutely love being a mom.

Our little Kamdyn is finally here. Sunday night around 11:30 I started having contractions (not much fun) and by 4:30 monday morning I couldn't take the pain anymore we went into the hospital. After 19 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing she finally came out at 4:26 monday afternoon. She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. She is absolutely adorable she has black curly hair and is just gorgeous.

So our due date has come and gone and still no baby. Do you think she'll ever come. My moms birthday is the 23rd so she's thinking she'll come then. I'm really hoping i don't have to go till friday. I will cry

So I went in for our 40 week check and I've actually made some progress. YEAH!!!! I'm only dialated to a one which isn't the best but at least its something. and I'm 50% efaced. So at least its getting closer. The dr set an induction date for may 22 just incase i haven't had her. I'm crossing my fingers that i don't go that long. Dallas is getting very anxious for Kamdyn to come so it's making it even harder to wait. He's so excited for her to come.

So I've recently painted Kamdyns room and it turned out perfect. I'm so excited about it. I just need to put up the border where the two colors meet. I hope she likes it as much as I do. So we went to the dr yesterday for my 39 week check and absolultely nothing has happened. So no baby this week. We go back next thursday for our next check up so keep your fingers crossed that something progresses by then. I guess I'll just keep working and keep active (maybe it will help things along)

So we went to the Dr today for my 37 week check and absolutely nothing. Talk about depressing. I'm measuring at 40 weeks so hopefully she'll come soon. He's thinking she's around 7 lbs so I'm really hoping she comes soon. The thought of a 10 lb baby makes me want to cry. But on a happy note because of the size of my feet and legs he did say if I dialate to at least a 3 then he'll go ahead and take me. If anyone has any good ideas on how to get her out now I'm open to suggestions. Seeing how big my feet are you can only imagine what the rest of me looks like. Sorry everyone but no pics for now. I'm trying not to leave the house I don't want to scare anyone. I've been painting Kamdyns room hoping that will do something its looking really cute. Almost done then I'll post some pics. I'm so excited about it.

So yesterday we went in for our 32 week check up and we got such exciting news. This last week I started having contractions (very irregular ones though) so the doc did his thing and said that I am getting very close. Its a little too early for her to come so I've been told to sit and lay down as much as possible so I can make it through this next month. Once we hit the end of April he's going to let me go anytime. So Dallas and I are so excited. Our little girl could be coming in 4 weeks. I'm trying not to get my hopes up considering you never really know when there going to come. They'll come whenever they feel like it!!! Anyways other then that there really isn't too much going on. Just getting ready for Kamdyn to join our family.

So this past week Dal and I spent in Cali for one of Dallas's business trips. ( for those who don't know Dallas is now an agent with farmers insurance). It was so nice and sunny. I had the best time sitting by the pool working on my tan while dallas was in meetings all day. :( too bad for him it wasn't much of a vacation. So some updates on the baby. I've hit 32 weeks so not too much longer. She is kicking a moving alot. Its starting to get uncomfortable, but I'm sure its all worth it. We're so excited for her to come, we've got bets going on when she will come. I'm thinking around the 9th or 10th of May. Hopefully sooner!!! Pictures to follow.

So it's official we're having a girl. She's due May 15 and we just can't wait. Her name is going to be Kamdyn Anne, she is so cute. The ultrasound was so much fun she was kicking and rolling around like crazy.

So we've finally started our family blog. Dallas and I met last November, got married in March so we have been married for 7 1/2 months and are now expecting our first baby on may 16. Some say we move fast but hey its the truth! We've just bought our first home in Cedar Hills Utah and absolutely love it.
